the only issue I have is trying to get thru on the phone lines to make or change an appointment. Once at the practice, everything is 100% top notch with all staff I have come in contact with to date.

I was inadvertently scheduled with Dr. Patten when I needed a shoulder surgeon for replacement surgery, and I do not know which end of the communication line we got screwed up on, but I would like to say that I enjoyed my time with Dr. Patten very much. He was quite thorough and helpful, even though he will not ultimately be my surgeon.

I was please to meet the doctor and he was very empathetic to my nervousness regarding my care. He listened and is willing to work with me on what makes me more comfortable for a better outcome.

Dr Patten did an amazing job with the repairs to my rotator cuff which had major damage from a dislocation. He walked me through everything before the surgery and after. My recovery has been excellent thanks to Dr Patten's skill as well as PT's help, his dedication to getting me through the physical therapy helped me get to where I am today. All of the staff has been amazing including the front team as well as the nurses and admins. It's simply a great experience after suffering the trauma of my fall.

My appointment was at 9:50am and saw a doctor over a hour later then when my scheduled time was for less than 5 minutes to tell me they needed to schedule me a MRI. Received my MRI appointment and get to do this all over again in a couple weeks.

Found the staff very personable and kind. They were concerned with my situation and came up with a plan to fix me.i got all the information I felt I needed for my upcoming surgery. I have already told friends about my great care.

You don't have to improve, you did very good. I didn't think of any questions until, you know, but I will dig into it more with Dr. Patten. I'll talk more and be relaxed so I can talk to him more.

The doctor was incredible. Trying to get an appointment after having him work on, Dr. Patten work on my shoulder, I went through two operations. He is incredible. His staff for scheduling is extremely poor and made me wait longer than I should have after I paid the hospital all that money to go through surgery twice, the same surgery. So other than that, I'm good.

Dr. Patten and staff have always listened to my "complaints" and addressed the problem. Courteous and professional.

Very pleased with my care team, they were extremely helpful at assisting me in my new sling, and they have been fantastic with paperwork and scheduling as my needs are not always simple.

Everything was good, but sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes was really a bummer.

I appreciated Dr. Patten's assessment of my knee as this was a second opinion. He made me feel very comfortable and I look forward to continuing my treatments in his care.

I was very impressed from the time I walked in..receptionist very pleasant, taken into a room at my appointment time, very short wait for Dr Patten who was very pleasant, did the exam and did treatment after explaining the process and follow up care needed. Dr Patten is a fabulous doctor. He not only is very knowledgeable about his profession, he helped me clearly understand what the shoulder pain and problems were, and performed surgery that brought healing to the shoulder. He is easy to talk to and listened carefully to my questions and concerns. I highly recommend Dr Patten to anyone who has shoulder problems or other physical problems.

My only minor complaint is when you check in make a co-payment the receipt you receive does not include the date of service or doctor's name,information required by employers who reimburse through an HSA.That is why a ask to be billed.The billing from Maine General contains the doctor's name,dare of service,and reason for treatment. Otherwise my experience with orthopedics and its staff has been excellent.

Dr. Patten and his team are just remarkable. All the people that helped during the surgery at Thayer were amazing, but in particular, Dr. Patten and his team were just so kind and caring and were never in a hurry, always would just sit there as long as I had questions and would re-answer them again if I didn't quite understand the first time around, and I would highly, highly, highly recommend Dr. Patten and his team for any orthopedic, anything moving forward to anyone that wants to know. I'm just so grateful that I am now jogging and my knee is recovering very, very well because of him.

Once the dr comes in (Dr Patten) it is a wonderful experience- but being there for a few works away from work and having to explain why I was gone so long. Wait 40 min in waiting room and then another half hr for dr.

Everyone was so pleasant and courteous. Dr Patten explained everything yo me, set a date for surgery but then wanted to send me for an ultrasound on my leg which he noticed was bothering me. They found a blood clot. I am so thankful that he decided to do the ultrasound.

The great work of MaineGeneral Physical Therapy was also essential to my recovery. From the time I got my referral to see the teams down in Augusta, things have been great. They got me on the right track with proper diagnosis and explained everything to me about the Achilles issue, and then surgery, once that was determined necessary. Nurses and other staff were great as well. Meeting with Dr. Patten was a pleasure, and he did a terrific job with the surgery and follow up. His skills and execution are at a high level. Meeting my PT practitioner was great, and she did a perfect job of explaining the reasons behind our exercises and approach. I have been sharing my positive experiences with anyone who I happen to be discussing the story with. I am feeling lucky to have found this team.

My only hold up was scheduling an appointment. As an existing patient, I believe I was misinformed when told I needed to see my primary doctor first. After seeing the primary doctor getting an appointment happened quite quickly

the office seems to be running behind a lot more as of late.

My time with Dr. Patten was wonderful. I felt very heard and understood. My experience with the front office and call center employees has been incredibly poor and frustrating. I am on hold for 10+ minutes and I get incorrect or inconsistent answers when I finally reach someone.
